Nanovia PEKK-A CF is a high performance polymer suited for parts that require high mechanical resistance in temperature of up to 180 °C. The added carbon fibres, in addition to reinforcing the material’s mechanical properties also reduce the warping effect, making Nanovia PEKK-A CF useable on a wider array of machines.

Based on polyethercetonecetone(PEKK), this high performance carbon fiber composite 3D filament is a go to material for industrial applications.

Thanks to its slow crystallization and the compounded carbon fibers, it’s possible to print Nanovia PEKK-A CF using a heated enclosure of only 90 °C.

Nanovia PEKK-A CF is also available in pellet form for plastic extrusion and 3D FGF pellet printing.

Application recommendations

Storage

  • Store in airtight container with desiccant, out of direct sunlight.
  • Dehydrate for 6h at 100°C prior to printing after prolonged exposure to humidity.

Printing

  • A reinforced nozzle, suitable for abrasive materials is recommended.

Printing

  • We recommend printing Nanovia PEKK-A CF in a room equipped with air extraction or by using appropriate breathing equipment.

Post traitement

  • Standard PPE recommended (dust mask, gloves)
