The Nanovia PEI filament, based on Ultem 1010 plastics, allows for high heat resistance and thermal stability. Nanovia PEI is resistant to autoclave operation, sterilisation cycles, and adapted for tooling able to resist high temperatures.

Nanovia PEI 3D printer filament, Ultem1010 based, is solvent, chemical and shock resistant. These properties allow for functional prints withstanding temperatures up to 200 °C.

Ideal for the creations of tools that need to undergo and withstand the high temperatures of autoclave, as well as gamma ray sterilisation, for medical use.

Perfectly suited for industrial applications in high temperature environments and composite tooling.

Application recommendations

Storage

  • Store Nanovia PEI in a dry and dark location, if possible with a desiccant.
  • In order to guarantee good printing conditions dehydrate Nanovia PEI at 110 °C for 4 hours or longer, when the spools has been exposed to moisture for an extended period.

Printing

  • Extrusion temperature : 370 à 390 °C
  • Heated bed temperature : 120 à 160 °C
  • Heated enclosure temperature : > 120 °C

Health and safety

Printing

  • We recommend printing Nanovia PEI in a room equipped with air extraction or by using appropriate breathing equipment.

Post traitement

  • We recommend wearing standard safety equipment during the post treatment of your prints made with Nanovia PEI.

Packaging

Spools are packed in individual boxes, sous-vide with desiccant. Spools are equipped with both a material traciblity and a production series number.
